This advanced workshop series invites teens to explore diverse disciplines including visual art, theatre, music, culinary art and storytelling as they refine their voices and creative visions. Students will collaborate with artists who make a living through their craft, gaining insight into creative careers and the power of the arts to shape culture and community. Meet the instructors: Arts Partners Arts Partners, part of the national Young Audiences Arts for Learning network, connects schools with local artists and cultural organizations to integrate visual and performing arts into PreK–12 education. Through performances, workshops, residencies and professional development, the program enhances classroom learning and supports arts-integrated curriculum design. By using the arts as a teaching tool, Arts Partners fosters creativity, self-expression, problem-solving and a lifelong love of learning.
