Achieve. Navigate.Join the second You CAN! cohort and become part of an empowering experience designed to help young women grow as confident, compassionate leaders. Through hands-on activities, guided reflection and community connection, participants will learn to recognize their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and navigate the challenges of adolescence with resilience and purpose.Throughout the program, participants will:•    Connect with peers through engaging activities that celebrate both similarities and differences.•    Achieve a deeper understanding of their personal strengths and learn how to use them to make a positive impact in their school and community.•    Navigate real-world challenges with support from mentors, peers and guest speakers.This unique experience also includes opportunities for parents and guardians to join select group sessions, fostering shared growth and understanding. Participants will meet inspiring role models and community leaders through guest presentations and a special field trip experience.In section one of this class series, students will develop a service-learning project, and in Quarter 4, they will implement it—working in pairs, small groups or as a full cohort to create meaningful change within their school or community.Meet the program instructor: Ashley WatkinsAshley Watkins, ACC, M.A.T., brings more than two decades of experience in education to her role as an empowerment coach. With a background as a high school journalism and English teacher, Ashley discovered her true calling lay in supporting the social and emotional growth of her students. This realization prompted her transition into coaching, a path she pursued with dedication and passion. Certified by Coach Training EDU in February 2021, Ashley established her practice, Ashley Watkins Coaching, where she engages in personalized one-on-one sessions with teens and young adults. Her primary focus is on empowering her clients to succeed in the ways that are meaningful to them and to accomplish their goals.
