Whether you’re just starting out or already a pro, this club is the perfect place to learn new techniques, work on exciting projects, and make new friends along the way.Crocheting and knitting aren’t just fun; they also build valuable skills like patience, problem-solving, and fine motor coordination. Plus, rhythmic, purposeful movements provide a calming outlet that can help improve focus and reduce stress.Student participants can expect to learn...Names of tools and how to guide them.Various types of different stitches.How to read a pattern.The types of yarn, hooks, and needles you can use in your creations.How to stay comfortable.Technical Skills.Come stitch, relax, and create with us.Materials: Students are welcome to bring their own materials, but beginners can also register to receive a Crochet & Knitting Starter Pack, which includes all the tools and supplies needed for class. If you'd prefer to bring your own materials, please come prepared with the following:One crochet hookOne pair of knitting needlesMedium weight yarnMeet the program instructor: Hailey ThomasHailey Thomas serves as a resident Khan Lab School Wichita instructor, but did you know she's a crochet queen?
