Pitching Your Solution Program Schedule: Aug. 21-Oct. 9 This class will meet weekly on Fridays from 11 a.m.-noon. Recommended Ages: 3rd-8th grades Cost: $125 (Members), $150 (Nonmembers) Pitch and Public Speaking is a dynamic communication program designed to help students learn how to generate excitement and interest around a product, service or idea. Whether paired with Prototype Lab or taken as a stand-alone experience, this course focuses on persuasive communication, storytelling, presentation design and audience engagement. Students will develop confidence in public speaking while learning how to craft compelling pitches, clearly communicate value and present ideas with professionalism and creativity. Through collaborative activities, practice presentations and feedback opportunities, participants will strengthen their communication, persuasive writing and leadership skills while preparing to share their ideas with impact. Meet the program instructor: Leah Ellis Leah Ellis is an educator, nonprofit leader and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering youth through creativity, financial literacy and real-world experience. As founder and executive director of The Society of Child Entrepreneurs (SoCE), Leah helps students, ages 6-17, turn ideas into businesses, develop leadership skills and gain lifelong entrepreneurial and emotional intelligence skills. Leah created “Ignite. Empower. Lead.,” a 36-week curriculum integrating storytelling, hands-on learning and national standards. Her children’s book series, “Astra & Zeke,” introduces business concepts through engaging narratives.
