Financial Literacy with Mr. CoolMoney and the Gang Program Schedule:  Aug. 21-Oct. 9 This class will meet weekly on Fridays from 11a.m.-noon Recommended Ages: K-5th grades  Cost: $90 (Members), $100 (Nonmembers) The Youth Educational Empowerment Program (YEEP) invites students to step into the exciting world of Coolopolis, where Mr. CoolMoney and his team of financial friends teach young learners how to build smart money habits for life. Through engaging activities, interactive lessons and real-world connections, students will explore the foundations of financial literacy in a fun, age-appropriate way. Designed for elementary students, this program introduces essential financial concepts like saving, budgeting, goal setting, entrepreneurship, responsible spending and avoiding debt traps. YEEP’s unique “Quad-Part” approach combines character development, nationally recognized financial literacy standards, motivation and inspiration, and meaningful calls to action to help students grow both personally and financially. The curriculum is aligned with the national financial literacy standards established by the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, ensuring students receive a strong foundation in practical money skills that can benefit them for years to come. Participants will build confidence, strengthen decision-making skills and begin developing a positive mindset around money and wealth-building from a young age. Whether students are future entrepreneurs, savers, investors or simply learning how to make smart financial choices, this program empowers them to take ownership of their financial future in a supportive and engaging environment. Join us in Coolopolis and help your child begin building lifelong financial confidence and success.  Meet the program instructor: The Youth Educational Empowerment Program has been in existence since 1997. They have given more than 10,000 presentations in and around Wichita, Kansas, and throughout the nation. In 2007, YEEP helped USD 259 start a financial literacy credit for graduation – with both the city and county acknowledging the organization every year in April as "YEEP Financial Literacy Month."
