Design & Digital Art Program Schedule: Oct. 24-Dec. 19 This class will meet from 10-11 a.m. weekly on Fridays. Recommended Ages: 6th-12th Grades Cost: $54 (Members); $60 (Nonmembers) Unleash creativity through digital arts in this class designed for high school students interested in graphic design and visual storytelling. Using Adobe Creative Cloud––primarily Adobe Illustrator––students will learn the fundamentals of vector design, typography, layout and more. Through a series of fun and challenging projects, students will build real-world design skills to enhance their creative mindset. No previous experience required; just bring your imagination and a willingness to learn. Meet the program instructor: Sophi Cerre Sophi Cerre is an experienced arts educator and freelance graphic designer. With a passion for inspiring students through the arts, Sophi spent five years in the classroom—three in high school and two in elementary—where she developed hands-on curriculum in a variety of mediums, including digital art and graphic design. Now serving as the Education Manager at Mark Arts, Sophi shares her passion for arts education and her enthusiasm for community engagement with a broader audience. She is committed to nurturing creativity, supporting emerging artists and expanding access to arts programming for all learners.
